Responsible Funding

20% of all revenue will continue to be secured in a dedicated lockbox for long-term expanding parking inventory.

A first reading of the Rate and Ordinance Change will be read. City Council will provide feedback and listen to public comment.
A second reading of the rate and ordinance change (with all revisions from first meeting) will be presented. City Council will listen to public comment and vote.
Enhancements for the downtown parking district begin. You will see enhancements before the rate increase!
Approved parking rates will take effect six months after City Council consensus, allowing time for public awareness and operational adjustments.

ParkFlag Parking Rates and Fees Analysis Report 2025
The City of Flagstaff is evaluating updates to public parking rates and permit fees in the ParkFlag District. A financial analysis has been completed to assess how increased revenues could support enhanced operations, maintenance, and expansion of public parking.

How Funds Are Used

ParkFlag is an enterprise fund, completely dependent on it’s own revenues to operate
